There seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Construction in the Bahamas has been authorized during the week and we’ve been back on our various projects. Starting this weekend, Saturday work is authorized by the Office of The Prime Minister from 7am to 1pm.
The Nassau Glass warehouse and showroom is progressing with the main frames almost done and the galvanized purlins being installed. The building is being properly braced and squared off to allow for a rapid install of the PBR metal roofing and insulation.
We are continuing the resheeting and renovation of Commonwealth Brewery. PBU metal wall panels are currently being switched out along with rusted and corroded girts.
Lyford Storage is still under development. The first single-slope building is almost complete and the standing seam roof is about to be seamed. The second conventional steel building has the PBR wall panels being installed at the same time as the standing seam roof. Simultaneously the mini-storage units, offices, hardscape and landscape is being completed by the developer.
As the Bahamas and the world opens up their economies, we will work towards a successful and safe return to life better than we knew it. Covid-19 has affected everyone directly and we wish everyone well now and for the future.
